WEB CAPTURE

WebCapture allows you to capture web contents into a single file at your local storage. You don't have to have internet connection, nor strict authentication process to view those contents. Although web content provider deleted some of their content from their server, you have still access to view those contents as long as you keep the file.

HOW TO USE IT?

  • Create an untitled document from WebCapture.
  • Drag an URL from Safari or your browser you want to capture.
  • Drop on the WebCapture document.
  • Give it a name, and save the document.

VIEWING CAPTURED CONTENTS

Captured Web contents are kept in your file permanently, even though the content provider is no longer hosting the contents, or their server is not responding to you, you still have access to those information.

Web contents are sometime too dynamic, the information you found today, may be vanished tomorrow. Simply, keep them in your local storage. Then you don't have to worry about loosing those information.

GET YOUR INFORMATION ORGANIZED!

WebCapture allows you to create folders to organize your information. You can categorize your information by structuring folders. Leave some comments in memo column in the organizer outline view, for helping you find things later.

IT IS NOT A WEB BROWSER...

Please understand that WebCapture is not a web browser. It uses Web Kit technologies to implement displaying captured web contents, but it does not equipped with Web browsing features. Please use Safari or your favorite web browser to find information, then drop the URLs over to WebCapture document.

  • Simple click will launch your default web browser to view the following link.
  • Holding option key to click a link will capture the web content followed by the link.
